Pool Care Calculators does not require an account. You can use the calculators without entering a name, email address, home address, or payment information.
The My Pool feature can save pool gallons, salt target, CYA target, and salt bag price in your browser local storage. Those values are used to prefill calculators on the same device. They are not uploaded to a Pool Care Calculators database.
Local storage is device-specific. If you use another browser, clear browser storage, or switch devices, those saved defaults may not be available.
The site uses Google Analytics to understand page views and calculator interactions. Analytics can help show which calculators are useful, where users get stuck, and which pages should be improved.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's own terms and privacy controls. Pool Care Calculators does not use analytics data to identify a specific pool owner.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, URL, and timing information to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
Some pages link to outside references such as CDC materials, manufacturer pages, and product documentation. External sites have their own privacy practices.
Product recommendations or affiliate links may be added later. If that happens, commercial links should be labeled near the link. Affiliate relationships should not change calculator formulas, source notes, or safety guidance.
Use the Clear button in the My Pool panel to remove saved pool defaults from the current browser. You can also clear site data through your browser settings.
