Affiliate disclosure

Commercial links should not change calculator math.

Pool Care Calculators may use affiliate links or product recommendations in the future. If that happens, links that can earn compensation should be labeled near the placement.

What may be monetized

Future product links may include pool salt, test strips, liquid chlorine, stabilizer, pH supplies, alkalinity supplies, and water testing kits. Those placements should be treated as shopping help, not as proof that a product is required for every pool.

Display ads may also be added if the site reaches enough traffic to support them without making calculators harder to use.

What should not be monetized

  • Formula constants and unit conversions.
  • Warnings about high salt, high CYA, unsafe chlorine, or staged dosing.
  • Source notes and methodology explanations.
  • Calculator results that should come from user inputs and documented assumptions.

Current status

At launch, the site is focused on calculator quality, search validation, and source-backed content. Any future affiliate program should be added after the recommendation data, disclosures, and label placement are reviewed together.
